Parenst - thank you for your support this week.... we're very encouraged by our bounce-back efforts these past two games. Nice to get a W against St James and we gave Mike's a good battle on Saturday. Turnovers and defensive lapses hurt us against Mike's, but we were able to execute a little better overall and I'd like to think that will help moving forward. When we got the score to 21-20 against Mike's, I really thought we had something but fell a little short. The pressure from Mikes' was something we didn't handle well, and with UD and DC coming up this week, we will be working on handling that better during practice this week because both teams, especailly UD, will be putting a lot of ball pressure on us.
We were able to squeeze some addtional practice time in for this week, so please note the following (these are posted on our team page, too):
Tuesday, 1/21, Practice at Edith, 7:30 - 9:00 pm
Wednesday, 1/22 Practice at Edith, 4:30 - 6:00 pm
Thursday 1/23 - game at UD, 7:15 pm - wearing RED
Friday 1/24, Practice at Edith, split gym with VG1, 4;30 - 6:00 pm
Saturday, 1/25, game at DC, 3:00 pm, wearing RED
